Dr. (Mrs.) Euphemia Godspower-Akpomiemie is currently a sessional lecturer at both the Wits Business School of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg South Africa and the Independent Institute of Education, Monash South Africa (IIEMSA), focusing on corporate governance and sustainability reporting.

Dr. Euphemia has written and published with prestigious journals and book publishers, including Journal of Banking Finance and Routledge. She has also attended numerous academic conferences internationally and nationally. Prior to obtaining her Ph.D. from Wits Business School of the University of the Witwatersrand, Euphemia obtained her master’s degree in Finance and Investment from same school. Before joining the academic space, Dr. Euphemia was in the banking industry, where she specialized on forex transactions with the United Bank for Africa (UBA), Nigeria.
